Instead of big neighborhood games of hide-and-seek, Patrick McMillan made friends with his surroundings, as growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains yielded more nature than same-age knock around pals. That was probably a good thing, now that McMillan is spreading his love for the environment and packaging his message with understanding, awareness and fun.
