Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. David Smith was named president of the Tri-State Law Enforcement Association during a meeting in December.
A public hearing held last week seeking input from residents regarding Clemson City Council’s proposal to change the time of digital sign messages from 30 to 15 seconds generated comments from several residents — all of who opposed the idea.
Although no votes can officially be taken during a work session, Clemson City Council met for nearly two hours Monday night to brainstorm ways to alleviate parking congestion in the downtown area.
