The founding of Seneca Presbyterian Church dates back almost as long as the city of Seneca itself.
The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce is alive and well. In August, the chamber of commerce boards for Oconee County and the cities of Walhalla and Westminster voted to move forward with forming a new countywide chamber.

Christian Robert Turner, 25, of 1627 Cherokee Circle, is charged with one count of grand larceny. Turner was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday.
A Clemson University employee was taken to the emergency room after a fox bit the employee near Lightsey Bridge Apartments on Thursday morning, according to a news release provided by the Clemson University Police Department.
