Members of The Reserve Charitable Foundation’s Board of Directors and Outreach Committee have distributed four $5,000 checks to Prevent Child Abuse of Pickens County, Pickens County Meals on Wheels, Mary’s House and Helping Hands of Clemson.
The South Carolina State writing competition “Letters About Literature” has announced its winners, and two of the top winners attend West-Oak Middle School. Over 1,000 letters were submitted from across South Carolina. Sydney Hodgin is the first place winner, and Hannah McKee is the second place winner in Level 1 from Mrs. Gosnell’s ELA class.
Ryan McDonald is a senior at Walhalla High School. He is currently enrolled in his third year of Engineering Graphics Honors at Hamilton Career Center where he was the winner of the local Architectural and Mechanical Design Contest. He went on to win the State Technical Drawing Contest.
