Ravenel Elementary AYP coaches, Karen Suarez and Angie Henderson, received a grant from Duke Energy on Jan. 19 in the amount of $800. Suarez and Henderson wrote the grant in hopes of providing the students in the AYP program a chance of visiting the community to educate themselves on employment and educational activities.
