Clemson football player Fred Davis turned himself in to police Sunday morning after being charged with reckless driving after authorities said he was driving 115 mph before hitting a U.S. Postal Service carrier last month.
While there won’t be a designated National Night Out event in the city this year, Clemson Police Chief Jorge Campos told the city’s Police Advisory Board last week that he and community resource coordinator Sgt. Shunna Kelley are coordinating with Creekwood Village Apartments on West Lane “and at least two others” for an event tonight.
Two days removed from a wreck involving a possible starter for the Clemson football team, Clemson Police Chief Jorge Campos said the investigation “will be long” and he did not expect to release any information “for several weeks.”
