Willie,
If a multi-million governmental contract in the county is shut down, you’d think this would be news. How many multi-million dollar contracts are there in Oconee County? It’s been about two weeks since the FAA county airport project was halted by DHEC. You would think this would be news.

Willie,
I try to drive very cautiously around the greater Seneca area, but fear that if something or someone beyond my control causes me to be involved in an accident, I may find myself on the front page of the paper. I want to know if there is some way we can start a list or fill out a form of those people who do not give permission to have their picture in the paper during a distressing time like being given emergency treatment? Contrary to your newspaper’s earlier assertion, this is not “news,” it is “nosey.”

Willie,
Today I had lunch at Lucky Strike in Westminster. When I got in my car at 1 p.m., the car that was parked next to mine had the windows partially rolled down and inside was a cute, little dog. It was over 80 degrees and people just need to be reminded that this is potentially hazardous for the dog.

I know the folks at the Seneca Chamber have tried very hard to revitalize Ram Cat Alley and attempt to get more shoppers there with Downtown Go ’Round. Many businesses and restaurants still are opening …

Willie,
This is in response to the comment about the slide at Chau Ram Park. My family went there a couple of weeks ago where my five-year-old wanted to slide. I admit it is pretty high, …

Willie,

I just got home from work and turned on the Channel 4 news, and I saw this lady from Seneca painting bleach on a dog and taking them to special needs kids. I think there should be a law against that. That poor little dog looks like his eyes are just burning out. Why don’t she paint herself like a zebra and go down there? Those kids don’t need anything like that. That is cruelty to animals.

Willie,
Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers! Being a mother has lots of challenges. For single moms, who often bear more responsibilities, the challenges can seem overwhelming.

Willie,
To Barbara: I don’t know what dog you picked up, but it’s the wrong one! The skeleton-looking female dog was still there as of yesterday. I called Willie and submitted an online Tell Willie with the address, but it never got published! I hate to post my phone number and you may not be interested anymore, but please call me (or anyone else out there who might be interested in helping rescue and take care of this dog) (864) 247-6321. Please leave a message.
