Tigers’ offense falls flat in season-opening loss to Georgia

For the first time in seven years, the Clemson football team opened its season with a loss. In 2014, the Tigers lost their season opener to Georgia 45-21 — and on Saturday, it was the Bulldogs again. Clemson’s defense looked the part at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., but the Tigers’ offense was toothless, and Clemson ultimately fell 10-3.

Tigers look to add to impressive class

Clemson’s 2022 class has taken shape recently, with the Tigers now ranked No. 9 in the nation while reeling in 12 commitments in 247Sports team rankings. With major targets still on the board, Clemson remains a contender to land another versatile playmaker on defense. D.J.
