HONEA PATH — The 2017 football season had not gone according to plan for the Daniel Lions, who were riding a five game losing streak coming into Friday’s game with regional foe Belton-Honea Path. The Lions’ second region game of the season looked to be no easy task, being on the road and against a solid 6-1 Bears team. For the Lions and head coach Jeff Fruster, a maximum effort and road win may have been necessary to turn the season around. The Lions fought hard on a chilly night, but could not muster enough offense and fell to the BHP Bears by a final score of 21-7.
